Most Repairs start at $85. An exact quote will be given once the device is received and diagnosed. No charge is incurred unless you agree to a quote and repair is started. Most unsuccessful repairs are not charged for. However the exceptions would be devices that have had prior repairs or devices that require the purchase of parts to even attempt to find out if repairable. All of this is discussed and agreed upon BEFORE I proceed. I always want my clients to fully understand the costs of their repair before proceeding.

Free PickUp- Read Check Box

I do not charge for pickup of items within a 5 mile radius of Gilbert and Southern. However I DO REQUIRE a $25 DEPOSIT for all scheduled pickups. If the item is picked up on the prearranged date and time as scheduled the deposit is either applied to the cost of fixing the device OR returned to you if device is deemed a "no fix" device. Deposits are paid by email when I send you a PayPal invoice for the deposit. PayPal will require a Credit Card, Debit Card, or PayPal account in order for you to pay it. Pickups are ONLY arranged by email or text and a date time must be mutually agreed upon. If you are not present when I arrive for pickup the deposit will be kept by me. Once a pickup deposit is forfeited by not being available for the scheduled pickup the deposit is no longer available to the customer to apply to repairs. It is a charge for the time, gas, and wear and tear on my vehicle for not fulfilling the agreed upon pickup time and date. Drop off without deposit is available both at my shop and at the UPS Store #1320 at the corner of Broadway and Lindsay in Mesa, 85204. See UPS Dropoff Directions for more info. Dropoffs must be scheduled with me in advance as I am often out "in the field" and not at my shop to accept your dropoff.

Devices with Prior Repair Attempts-Read and Check Box

If a device has obvious signs of a prior repair attempt (under a microscope this is painfully obvious) I will not diagnose or attempt to repair for free. Too often significant damage can be done to devices by well meaning people trying to repair them that will greatly hinder my ability to quickly diagnose and repair a device efficiently. In these cases I charge a minimum $75 fee to diagnose and attempt to repair. If the device IS repairable the $75 is applied to the cost of repairing the device and in the end the cost to you is the same as any other fixable device. However if the device is deemed a "no fix" I will keep the $75.

PRICING

Most Gaming Consoles cost $85 to $125 to fix

An exact quote is not possible until I receive the device. Known exceptions to the $85 starting price are the PS5 and the Xbox Series X. These devices start at $125.

Most Notebook and Desktop Computer repairs also start at $85 (prior to cost of parts) and an exact quote is only possible once the device has been examined.

Most Misc Items have a minimum repair fee of $65- Only you can determine if it is worth repairing an item. The value of repair goes beyond the intrinsic value of the item in terms of data retention, sentimentality, and polluting the planet with thrown away electronics.

I do not charge unless you agree to repair and repair is successful.

Most devices are examined within 24 to 72 hours upon arrival. Repair times are often based on part availability and can vary. An estimate of time to repair will be given once the exact nature of the problem is understood.
